Tadpac is a registered Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) that has been providing meaningful employment and a sense of community to people living with a disability for over 50 years.

Our story

Tadpac – printing for impact.

Established in 1965 by a group of people with disabilities, Tadpac started out providing the local community with a photocopying and joinery service.

Over the years we have matured and diversified to offer a high-quality, professional printing, assembly and mailout service. We have invested in the latest technology and become a reliable and trusted printer for some of Tasmania’s largest businesses and organisations.

Tadpac and Uniting

Tadpac is a Uniting social enterprise driven to help communities and businesses thrive, with all revenue going back into programs and services.

Socially sustainable outcomes.

Our print services enable you to embed social procurement into your everyday buying activity.

Environmental responsibility

We use Simitri HD toner, made of a plant-based, renewable organic resource, which is carbon neutral and low on energy consumption. The paper we use is at least 50% recycled, and the most sustainable available to give the best quality results for each job.

Social enterprise

All revenue goes back into Uniting’s community services and outreach programs. In Tasmania these include emergency relief, community meals, family support, mental health and community development services.

Disability employment

We offer meaningful work and a sense of community to people living with a disability. We develop skills that are in demand in the labour market so team members can move on to open employment if they prefer.

Our team are the beating heart of Tadpac. Skilled in everything from printing to packaging and assembling high quality products – some of our staff have stayed with us for more than 35 years. Tadpac isn’t just a job, it’s a community.
